State Suggestion Program restarts in Arizona

Arizona, a state that has laid off 1000s of staff in a bid to combat budget deficits during recent years has restarted it's Employee Suggestions Program in a bid to cut costs.

The state previously had a suggestion program but it was scrapped after almost 25 years of use, after being deemed 'ineffective'. "Janice Jacobo, an operations superintendent at the Phoenix airport, had a suggestion about painting all buses the same color, which would reduce the number of spare buses needed by 60 percent."
